Roberts Wood, though small, offers a wide variety of tree species and is easily manageable, making it an excellent choice for first-time woodland owners.

From the ride stop at the main entrance, a woodland path winds through the site, passing clearings with grassy floors perfect for camping and outdoor activities. This is an ideal spot for families with young children looking to enjoy nature. The current owners have also installed a useful eco loo and picnic table.

The wood is home to a diverse range of trees, including hazel, sycamore, oak, ash, maple, chestnut, and wild cherry. Wildlife is abundant, with frequent sightings of Fallow and muntjak deer, badgers, foxes, and numerous bird species.

The picturesque village of Coddenham, with its charming community shop, is within walking distance. Additionally, the A14 provides easy access to Ipswich and the coast, both just a short drive away.
