Mature oak stand over a well mixed, semi-ancient woodland, mainly made up of hazel, birch, sycamore and ash. A small stream runs along the western boundary down to a footbridge that joins the main ride to the southern point of the wood. The stream attracts an array of wildlife and woodpeckers are a common sighting.
Woodland tracks lead you around the wood and in season bluebells carpet the floor. Two large clearings make Forest Bank a great space for camping and woodland activities. There is no public access through or near the woodland making it a very peaceful and private space for those looking to escape in nature.
Situated in the beautiful Kent countryside, about 1½ hrs drive from London, the woodland is a short drive to the village of Pluckley. Pluckley train station is also within easy walking distance.

Boundaries: All boundaries are open and follow the stream to the west and south. To the north the boundary is staked and marked white, the east side follows the main ride.
Access: Access to the woodland is via the shared track that runs from east to west through The Forest. Parking is possible on the verge at the start of the main ride, from this point access is on foot only.
