Great Gorse Shaw is a truly unique, well mixed private woodland situated in the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. From the secure private gates, a hard track leads into the woodland to reveal wonderful open areas and a woodland cabin.

Impressive beech and oak line the main track through the wood. Hornbeam, hazel coppice and ash are also common on the western side. There is a management plan and felling license currently in place. Fields lie to the east and south allowing sunlight to pour in creating an idyllic and peaceful environment. Great Gorse Shaw is the perfect hideaway for those wishing to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life or just enjoy the great outdoors with family and friends.

In addition to the main cabin, which includes a log burner, water supply and phone line, there are numerous sheds and seating areas to use and enjoy. The motorhome pictured is also included in the sale.

Ideally located between the A2 and M20, London is only 30 minutes away and the coast to the east is within easy reach. The local village of Meopham with all it has to offer is just a 5 minute drive. 

Ward is Shorne, Cobham and Luddesdowne and the County Council is Kent.

Boundaries: The boundaries are fenced on all sides although some repairs are needed from to the east bordering Strawberry Hill. 

Access: There is excellent vehicle access from the private entrance all year round. Parking is possible inside the woodland.
